Dark Glass（传说中BW动画被换掉的剧本，附英文原稿） [复制链接]

        我几个月前在百度贴吧里看见一篇坟贴，提到了未被搬上屏幕的Dark Glass剧集，于是我搜索了一下，国内网站并没有对这个剧集谈论太多，而且谈论的帖子都已经很旧了。于是我搜了一下国外网站（具体怎么搜的你们就甭问了），意外找到了Dark Glass 的原版剧本以及根据剧本绘制的漫画同人，但传闻中Cheetor与Silverbolt的冲突并没有出现在剧本里，而是出现在同人漫画里，不知是我找到的剧本有误，还是这段三角剧情本身就是同人作者自己加上去的（我觉得还是没有更好），但剧本毕竟年代已久，具体细节无从查证。不过这个剧集的内容确实起到了承上启下的重要作用，个人感觉换掉它有点不明智。

如果剧本不是官方的，诸位当做一个同人来看也是不错的。由于是国外的剧本，剧本格式与本国有所不同，但我相信这不会对大家的阅读产生太大的影响。但本人水平有限，如果中文稿不尽如人意，小妹会将英文原稿奉上，供大家品读学习。

暗色玻璃（又译 暗杯）
第一幕
淡入：
外景：浓密的丛林布景。白天。镜头缓慢旋转着接近老鼠勇士。一阵滴滴声从他的探测器响上起来，他停下来，打开联络器。
    老鼠：老鼠呼叫老鼠洞。
室内布景：巨无霸基地。黑猩猩通过控制台接听老鼠勇士的呼叫。
    老鼠：（镜头离开老鼠，声音从控圞制台传出来。）基圞地信的号消失了。现在不知道干扰信号是哪来的。
    黑猩猩：嗯……你最好赶快离开那里。我想你可能掉进了一个陷阱。
外景：镜头回到丛林里，跟随老鼠勇士。
    老鼠：嘿！你忘了你在跟谁说话，傻猴子。要是真有陷阱，我能闻到。并且这里可没有奶酪，这里全是……等等！
外景：子弹射入灌木中。老鼠变身为机器人形态，枪握在手中已经上膛。他警惕地四下张望，向有声音的方向移动。
一道明亮的光束从灌木丛中射出。光束击中老鼠并将他击倒，他躺在地上，身上有白色的能量波包绕。他试着打开联络器。
    老鼠：（挣扎）老鼠勇士呼叫基地！我中弹了！动……动不了了。
联络器里只有静电声。老鼠轻轻地抬起头，好像看见了什么。
克隆恐龙（DINOBOT II）穿过被射倒的树丛，调整着他的透明镜头，向瘫倒的老鼠走过来。
克隆恐龙：巨无霸蠢货，直接走进我的射程范围。幸运的是，你不用再担心走到别的地方去了。
克隆恐龙伸出他的剃刀爪子，开始向老鼠接近。
老鼠惊恐又无助地看着他。
克隆恐龙走着走着停下了，他听见了火箭推进器的轰鸣声正在接近。
黄豹带着轰鸣声全速穿过丛林，他撞上了克隆恐龙并把他撞到几米开外。克隆恐龙抓住了悬崖边沿，挂在那里。黄豹变形为机器人形态，拿出枪朝树木的根部开枪。
树木向着克隆恐龙的方向倒下去。克隆恐龙看见了，盯着老鼠。
    克隆恐龙：（对老鼠）还没结束，耗子！
克隆恐龙在树砸向他之前放开悬崖，从视线中消失。
    黄豹：（对自己）快猫再次出手……（看着老鼠）捉回老鼠一只。
老鼠仍然无助地躺着。
    老鼠：是啊，不过你先闭上嘴把我从这里弄走好吗，金发帅哥？
黄豹扶起老鼠，把他扛在肩上，然后快步离开。

切入：
室内布景：巨无霸基地：犀牛站在控制台边用电极修复老鼠。黑猩猩和黄豹站在一旁。
    犀牛：好了，很简单。锁定光线似乎在几个循环之内就把你大部分的部件都损坏了。
老鼠站起来走到一把控制椅上坐下。
    老鼠：（附和犀牛的说法）对吧？那感觉就好像同时被肢解又被刮散了。我是说，恐龙这是怎么了？一不高兴了就把你脑袋撕裂。
    黑猩猩：老鼠勇圞士，这个不是恐龙勇士。他是狂飙的火种。只要这枚火种一点燃，就会持续地像卑鄙的怪物一样占有这具原生体。
    老鼠：（讽刺地）占有，是吗？那在你需要的时候有没有电子驱魔师？
直接切换：老鼠愤怒地一拳打在控圞制台上，使下方一个端口被打开，一个数据盒掉了出来。四个巨无霸看着它，然后疑惑地对望。
    老鼠：咦？我从没见过这个数据盒。
    犀牛：它一定在艾萨隆号被毁之前就存在了。
老鼠捡起数据盒，走到地面控圞制台，将它插圞入端口，屏幕上出现了运动的图像，还有声音。
在屏幕上，最先出现的是霸王龙（原始形态，MB）转过身，毒蝎出现，他面向着镜头。（画面来自第一集《野兽战争1》）
    霸王龙：（来自画面）……是这样吗，毒蝎？
停止，而后第二个画面出现了。老鼠看着镜头。（画面来自第二十七集《劫后余波》）
    老鼠：（画面）……我就知道不该来救你，大爬虫！
老鼠（真实的，不是显示器里的那个）有所反应，然后他明白了。
    老鼠：等一会，我知道这是什么。
画面中再次变化，另一幅画面出现。可看到巨无霸基圞地的控圞制台连接着一根导线，插圞入了一个十分相似的数据盒，数据开始传输进去。镜头向上抬，出现了计算机上的暗色玻璃，玻璃中圞出现恐龙勇圞士的影子（画面来自第四十三集，《孽种》）（瓦片：虽然《暗色玻璃》这一集没有拍出来，但这个伏笔确实埋下了。）
    恐龙：（在屏幕中）这或许就要取决于我了。
画面再一次变换。老鼠看到了他老朋友十分非常高兴，他在下一个画面出现之前把屏幕关上了，从端口取出数据盒，转身面向后面的巨无霸们。他看上去非常兴奋。
    老鼠：（兴奋）花脸龙一定是在他报废之前把记忆下载到数据盒里了。太棒了！
    黄豹：你在说什么？
    老鼠：想想吧，小花猫！我们可以把这个记忆下载到花脸龙克隆体的数据库里，他会看到这些记忆并且自己回想起来，他会明白他是我们可爱的侏罗纪尖尾巴！这样他又回到我们中间了！
黑猩猩挠着下巴凝视了一会，然后转向犀牛。
    黑猩猩：（征求意见）犀牛？
犀牛沉思了一会，开口。
    犀牛：嗯。这个主意行得通。但是，这个记忆的痕迹只会对火种产生幻觉，可能不会被真正的占有者接受并相信是他自己的记忆。考虑到这个火种是原生体X的，虽然只有半个火种，火种也可能将幻觉覆盖因此它会拒绝接受记忆。
    黑猩猩：我想不仅如此。此外，记忆的路径会把巨无霸的重要信息泄露给原始兽，给予他们在战略上的优势……这太冒险了……恐怕我们做不到。
    老鼠：（请求许可）但是……我们不能仅仅（被打断）
    黑猩猩：（打断他，语气加重）这是命令，老鼠勇士！这太危险了！我们不能尝试上传这段记忆数据。
黑猩猩走开几步，又停下，扭头看过来。
    黑猩猩：（扭头从肩膀上看过来，看向老鼠）（放低声音，理解老鼠的期望。）对不起。
黑猩猩走出去了，犀牛也跟着离开。
老鼠拿着数据盒朝着相反的方向离开，黄豹走到他身边。
    老鼠：（败挫地，手里拿着数据盒）我不在乎那个蠢猴子说什么，我要把我报废的老朋友带回来。
    黄豹：（支持，但很无奈）嗯，这回你不可能让我跟你去了。另外，你也无法找到那个克隆体。
    老鼠：我也许不能。但我知道有一只罐装沙丁鱼知道怎么办。
  
切入：
室内布景：巨无霸基地弹药库。
Ins：射击鱼雷正被装进急先锋的弹匣。镜头聚焦，急先锋正在武装自己。武装完毕。
    急先锋：（对他自己，带着一丝的期待）准备好了，让X-游戏开始吧！
急先锋转过身看见敏捷的老鼠勇士，当老鼠开口时手里仍然拿着数据盒……
    老鼠：你知道些什么，对吧？孔雀鱼。你的真实想法是取某人的性命。比起每天尝试做凉拌螃蟹，你更愿意战斗。
急先锋不理他，准备离开去执行任务，手中拿着武器，走过老鼠身边用肘把他重重地顶到一边，一边说着。
    急先锋：我相信不远处有一堆垃圾，上面写着你的名字，老鼠。
老鼠开始跟着急先锋走向出口。
    老鼠：你知道，你让我想起了我的一个铁头老朋友，他很丑，闻起来很臭。但至少他的头在正确的地方。
    急先锋：你要是不赶紧滚开，你的头很快就不在正确的地方了！我找到了一对分开的火种，我要去消灭它。
    老鼠：是嘛！如果其中之一是被一位友好人士使用着，你用不着消灭他呢？
急先锋穿过防爆门，老鼠紧跟着他。
    老鼠：如果真的是这样，我可以证明给你看。帮我把恐龙勇士找来，我会替你好好照顾他的。
    急先锋：这不是老鼠的游戏，这是我和X之间的较量……野兽形态！
急先锋变身为飞行形态，开始盘旋着准备离开。老鼠抓住了急先锋的面部栅叶爬了上去，离开地面。
    老鼠：哇！你哪都不能自己去！
    急先锋：（平静，但语气带着愤怒）从我身上下来，老鼠！
    老鼠：嘿！你要说话了？还是准备摇滚了（Are you going to talk, or are you going to rock?）？让我们走吧！
    急先锋：（对自己，很恼火但还是接受了）哼！完美的一天被啮齿动物搅合了。复仇总是有坏的一面。
急先锋加速了，老鼠舒服地坐着，轻轻地握着数据盒。
    老鼠：（对着数据盒，很轻柔地，充满希望地）别担心，蜥蜴。你马上就可以回来了。
镜头聚焦于数据盒，渐隐。

第二幕
室内布景：在原始兽基地外
Ins：镜头接近霸王龙，他正坐在他控制台前的移动椅上，按动电钮启动通讯器。
    霸王龙（对着控制台）（魔鬼和黄蜂未出现）霸王龙呼叫魔鬼勇士和黄蜂勇士：恐龙勇士出去巡逻还没有回来。去找他！
然后，霸王龙转动椅子面向另一台监视器屏幕，可以看见狼蛛在另一个房间里在看着一台很大但不知是什么的机器。
    霸王龙：（对着监视器里的狼蛛）狼蛛勇士，这台机器是不是准备好按计划运行了？
    狼蛛：嗯，是的，伟大的霸王龙。很快，方舟又会在您的掌握之中。
    霸王龙：非常好。你做得很好，中尉。是的，现在把工作做完。
霸王龙离开监视器，独自安静地坐了一会，才对自己说……
    霸王龙：狼蛛正在准备自己的计划。他们的背叛将得到很好的回报。
渐隐


切入：
室外布景：野外，暗色的粗糙岩石。白天
Ins：急先锋背着老鼠和数据盒。
急先锋降落到地面高度，伴随着一声锐响，把老鼠连同数据盒一起从背上扔下来，停到几米外。
    老鼠：（对被扔到地上有所反应）哇！噢！
急先锋变身成机器人形态，炮膛已经架好，双脚踩在地上。
    老鼠：（爬起来）嘿，你这是干什么，鱼脑袋？
急先锋依然环顾着周围。
    急先锋：（轻声）安静，老鼠。X的火种就在附近。
老鼠拿起枪，另一只手里仍然拿着数据盒。他站着不动，小心地四下张望。
    老鼠：哪一个？
    急先锋：我不知道，留在这儿。
急先锋开始慢慢围着几排石头走动，老鼠跟着他。
    老鼠：嘿！我买了这场死亡比赛的前排坐票，我希望看到……
老鼠被附近石头坠落的声音打断了。老鼠和急先锋一起快速转身，看见克隆恐龙从石头后面跳出来，跳到两人视野中央。
急先锋马上举起炮筒，一边准备好射击
    急先锋：吃渣滓吧，大爬虫！
就在急先锋开火的时候，老鼠把他的炮筒推向另一个方向，他无法打到克隆恐龙。
    老鼠：（高喊）不要！
急先锋没有打中克隆恐龙，利用这一瞬间，恐龙恐龙从他的透明光学镜头中射出锁定光线击中急先锋。急先锋没有发现自己在火力范围内，他将老鼠推开，被光线击中，向后倒下，无法动弹。
然后，克隆恐龙窜了过来，跳到急先锋的胸口直直地站着，伸出尖刀利爪准备动手。急先锋无助地看着。
    克隆恐龙：你寻仇的日子结束了，巨无霸！
正在克隆恐龙的利爪将要落到急先锋身上的时候，老鼠跳到了恐龙肩上，手里仍然拿着数据盒，把它插圞进了克隆恐龙的头部。
    老鼠：（快速高喊）你作为原始兽的日子也要结束了，大蜥蜴！
老鼠快速将数据盒的金属片插入克隆恐龙头后的接口，然后在克隆恐龙向他进攻之前跳下来。
随即，数据盒中的信息涌**入克隆恐龙的大脑。克隆恐龙痛苦地抱住头，跌跪在地，痛苦地嚎叫。
    克隆恐龙：（冗长而痛苦的嚎叫）
老鼠和急先锋（在地上一动不动）一起看着克隆恐龙挣扎。
克隆恐龙把数据盒从头后扯出来扔到了一块石头上，但这太晚了，所有的记忆已经下载进去了。
克隆恐龙继续跪着嚎叫。克隆恐龙和恐龙的影响交替出现在尖圞叫的位置上，瞬间交替了几次。
这个时候，镜头迅速进入克隆恐龙的右眼，画面变暗。
Ins:几秒钟后，画面切入狂飙及其形态的头部，画面浮动在黑暗中，在一个画面扭曲的幻境中（参看第二十六集《末日》中，狼蛛勇士与蜘蛛勇士意识混合的画面）。狂飙的脸看上去很困惑。
    狂飙（头部）：我，我怎么了？
可以看到，在狂飙的头脑中，有很多背景和人物的画面在画面上闪过去。
    狂飙（头部）：（仍然疑惑，恐惧）我看到的这些思想……不是我的。
变化的亮斑转到了狂飙的机械头的后部，出现在他面前的是恐龙的头，同样的大小，盯着他。亮斑继续在两颗头周围盘旋。
    狂飙（头部）：这不是真的！这不是我！我是X！奥米星上无辜生命的统治者和刽子手！
    恐龙（头部）：（真实地，试图掌控狂飙的意识）不，你现在是我，恐龙勇士：无畏的战士，巨无霸！
    狂飙（头部）：不！我可以打败你！你不能打败我！
    恐龙（头部）：你打不到你所看见的，你只能相信这是真的。
    狂飙（头部）：我整个火种足够强大，可以打败这一切，你赢不了！
    恐龙（头部）：你可怜的半个火种太虚弱了，以至于无法抵抗这样一个幻象。像现在一样，你残缺的力量会使你相信你所见到的一切。因为你看见了我，所以，你会接受我的信仰……我的荣耀。
    狂飙（头部）：不——！
狂飙的头部继续嚎叫，同时也在恐龙的头脑中闪动着。更多凌乱的画面闪过，然后所有的画面都变成红色。狂飙的嚎叫转变为克隆恐龙的嚎叫，随着镜头转出克隆恐龙的右眼。克隆恐龙仍然跪着，和刚才一样痛苦地嚎叫着。

外布景：同样的室外布景再次出现：克隆恐龙停止嚎叫，突然低下头看着地面。
老鼠被刚才发生的事情惊呆了。他缓慢地站起来，目光留在克隆恐龙的身上。
*提示：从这里开始，由恐龙的意识和克隆恐龙的躯体所组成的角色在剧本中记做“三代恐龙（Dinobot III）”。
三代恐龙醒了过来，慢慢扶着头站起身。
老鼠站在他附近，抬头看着他。
    老鼠：（轻轻地，充满希望地，确认三代恐龙的身份。）花脸龙？
三代恐龙将头转向老鼠，停下几秒钟，看上去带着一丝惊讶。
    三代恐龙：（轻轻地，对于所发生的一切有些迷惑）害虫？
    老鼠：（突然狂喜）花脸龙！真的是你！
老鼠跳进三代恐龙的怀里，给他一记大大的而且响亮的吻。
    老鼠：（巨大的，响亮的，悠长的，充满热情的吻）
三代恐龙厌恶地将老鼠直接扔到了几码开外。
    三代恐龙：（厌恶地）离我远点，你这倒霉的啮齿动物！
老鼠躺在地上，却更开心了。
    老鼠：是啊，确定是你了，没错了！危害社会安宁的本色一点都没变！哈，我是说，伟大的切达奶酪，大花脸，你又是我们中的一员了。
    三代恐龙：（依然平静，还在试着弄明白刚才发生了什么）：我……我怎么到这里的？我变成什么了？
    老鼠：（平静了一点）哦，你被杀圞害了，记得吗？但在那之后，大虫子用螃蟹腿的半个火种做了一个你的复制品。再然后，我找到了一个装着你记忆的数据盒，我就把它上传到了你的丑陋的脑袋里，然后就在这里了！就是这样！
    三代恐龙：（慢慢明白了目前状况）……呃……你……很勇敢。
    老鼠：是啊！要是不搞清楚是哪个蠢货把你给我们的东西弄得一塌糊涂的，我就过不好。伙计，这些日子就是这样（well I just couldn’t go another day without knowing what stupid mess you’d get us into next. Man, those were the days. Hey, ）。我打赌，你在霸王龙那里看到了不少可爱的疯圞子，对吧？
    三代恐龙：（突然一惊，好像想起了什么，轻声地）霸王龙
   老鼠：说起来，看在过去的份上，我们要不要再来一盘，看看谁抓回来的家伙更野蛮（for old time’s sake, how about another round of seeing who can come up with the rudest personal remark about the other），记住了，你去不去？
    三代恐龙：（没有注意到老鼠的话，思维停留在自己的意识中）你说得对，害虫。
    老鼠：（跃跃欲试）（看着三代恐龙的新躯体）（开了个无礼的玩笑）很好，我先走。咳咳！你是一直看上去像个骨头架子，还是你加入了原始兽，让你“把皮扒了（lose your skin）”？嘿嘿！不错，是吧？
    三代恐龙：（轻微地恼怒）（然后平静下来，变得更恐怖）不，你这倒霉的脏耗子。你是对的……我可以看见这具躯体所看到的东西。这具躯体看到了……霸王龙的计划。
    老鼠：（疑惑）啊？
    三代恐龙：（开始明白自己该怎么做）霸王龙准备再次掌控方圞舟，他有这个力量……（短促而痛苦的喘息）
    老鼠：（马上关切道）嘿！呃，你还好吧，蜥蜴嘴？
三代恐龙站起来，重新控圞制自己。
    三代恐龙：火种还是想占上风。我可能坚持不了多久。
    老鼠：那么我还是赶紧带你回去，犀牛会知道怎么让你不再变回去。
    三代恐龙：（抬高声调，明白他该做什么）不！霸王龙已经离他下一次胜利不远了。他必须在他开始最后的毁灭之前阻止他。
三代恐龙变身为野兽形态
    三代恐龙：（轻声地，对他自己）为荣耀而战。
三代恐龙全速跑出画面
    老鼠：（惊恐而担忧）嘿，等等！
然后，老鼠转身看着一直静止不动的急先锋。
    老鼠：我们还得摆平这只搁浅的鲨鱼。
三代恐龙没有回应，径直跑出视野。
老鼠转身走向静止不动的急先锋，明白他必须帮他。
    老鼠：（一边走，一边对自己轻声抱怨）这个危险的火蜥蜴，和过去一样死脑筋。
老鼠走近神志清圞醒但不能动弹的急先锋。急先锋抬头看着老鼠。
    老鼠：那么，你在这里做什么呢，潜水艇？我打赌你一定在感谢我让你摆脱了大蜥蜴的追踪，对吧？
    急先锋：（凶圞恶地）我要是能起来，老鼠，我一定把你的光学镜头撕碎，这样你就用不着看见我们刚才遇到的那个渣滓玩意！
    老鼠：（戒备地）嘿！我刚刚维护了我们的隐蔽状态，大鲨鱼，我们还把恐龙脑袋弄回我们这边了，而你只想杀了他。
    急先锋：你的中圞央处理器坏得不是一般的厉害。那些记忆不能将X的火种排斥在外。只要X发觉发生了什么，他就会把全部火种的力量给克隆体，你那个半吊子的主意也不能阻止火种占山上风。
    老鼠：（明白了，开始担心）这是为什么呢！你或许是个要被烤干的金枪鱼，不过你是对的。花脸龙直接朝原始兽的地盘跑过去了，他掉进了一个陷阱！
老鼠变身成机车形态，开始离开画面。
    急先锋：嘿！回来，老鼠！
老鼠停下来，转过身
    老鼠：（决意去救三代恐龙）哦，对了，关于这个锁定光线，不用担心，几个循环之后就失效了。还有，你恢复过来的时候我可能不在你身边，我要去找我的朋友，我可不想再失去他了。
老鼠转过身，加速离开视野。
    急先锋：（讽刺地，对自己）难以置信。
一只小蝴蝶飞到急先锋身上，停到他肩头，看着他的脸。
    急先锋：（凶圞恶地，对蝴蝶）看什么看！

切入：
外景：一个满是石头的开阔峡谷
三代恐龙全速跑过沉积平原。他停下来，听见黄蜂勇圞士在上方嗡嗡叫。黄蜂勇圞士飞下来落在三代恐龙面前。
    黄蜂：哦~~~黄蜂勇圞士找到蜥蜴人了，霸王龙会高兴的。
    三代恐龙：（见到敌人有些兴圞奋）啊！是的，虫子，我曾经的训练靶子。我严重怀疑今天会变成你的受圞虐日。
    黄蜂：（被三代恐龙的话弄糊涂了）唔？
黄蜂勇圞士按了一下胸口，启动联络器。
    黄蜂：（从联络器里传来）黄蜂勇圞士呼叫霸王龙。黄蜂勇圞士找到蜥蜴人了，但蜥蜴人在和黄蜂勇圞士讲笑话。
    霸王龙：（未露面，只听见声音从联络器传出来）嗯，无论如何，回来的路上要看好他。
当听到霸王龙的声音时，三代恐龙发现了，暴怒起来。霸王龙的声音一消失，三代恐龙便快速转身将尾巴抡到黄蜂勇圞士的身上。
    黄蜂：（短促的惊叫）
三代恐龙抬起尾巴，尾巴还留在黄蜂勇圞士的头上，这样他可以和黄蜂勇圞士胸口的联络器对讲。
    三代恐龙：（威胁地，一边走一边说）霸王龙，这回你赢不了了。
Ins：原始兽基圞地
在原始兽基圞地中，霸王龙坐在椅子上听着联络器。
    三代恐龙：（声音从联络器传出）想要控圞制方圞舟，除非从我的尸体上踏过去！
    霸王龙：（惊讶，明白发生了什么，但不确定怎么办，对自己说）不会的。
    黄蜂：（声音从联络器中传出）霸王龙，黄蜂勇圞士想重新商讨契约，黄蜂勇圞士受够了……
黄蜂勇圞士的声音被拧掉脑袋的声音打断了（画面未出现）霸王龙的表情很无语。
    三代恐龙：（声音从联络器传出，威胁地）为我的到来做好准备，……霸王龙。
联络中断了。霸王龙停下来几秒钟分析情况。然后，他又按下联络器按钮。
    霸王龙：（对联络器）（狂飙未出现）霸王龙呼叫狂飙。马上向我报到。你和我将要和一位老朋友见面……然后，再见！
渐隐
第二幕结束

  


第三幕
室外布景：火山活动区，日落。
切入：老鼠沿着地面中速行驶着，一边嗤之以鼻。
    老鼠：（对自己）哼，虽然身圞体整个换了，那个蜥蜴的一身臭味还是没变……他现在上哪去了？
跳跃的光斑围绕着老鼠，他到了悬崖的边缘。悬崖下面可以看到原始兽的基圞地。
    老鼠：（悄悄地，发现三代恐龙已经走进警戒线）哦不。
然后，老鼠开始开下山坡驶向基圞地。

切入：
室内布景：原始兽基圞地。霸王龙坐在他的椅子上看着监圞视器屏幕，恐惧的狼蛛勇圞士依旧出现在原始兽基圞地的某个房间里，周围散落着许多金属碎片。

    狼蛛：（通过监控器）我不知道！但是您的克隆体刚才回来了。他可能知道。
狼蛛关上了屏幕。
    霸王龙：（惊讶，试图警告他）什么？！不，你这蠢货！
    狼蛛：（没有图像，只有声音）（长长的尖圞叫圞声，突然放大）
狼蛛被四成碎片的声音打断了霸王龙（没有画面）。
    霸王龙：（失望，但仍然平静）哦。
霸王龙仍然坐在那里，环抱着双臂，手里紧圞握着他作为武圞器的尾巴。他转过身，看着基圞地黑圞暗的走廊，他听见有缓慢的脚步声走进来。脚步声越来越大了。霸王龙依旧带着刚才的预想坐在那里。
然后，狼蛛的头从走廊里滚了出来。它掉在了霸王龙面前，擦出了一点火花。
霸王龙看向走廊入口，三代恐龙平静而缓慢地走进来。
    三代恐龙：（平静地，带着厌恶的紧张感，慢慢逼近）霸王龙。
    霸王龙：（平静的，真挚的，自信的，还有一点高兴）哦，恐龙勇圞士。再一次见到你我真是太高兴了。你真使我吃惊。即使是穿过这么多艰难险阻，你还是要打圞倒我并挫败我的计划。你真是一位不同寻常的战士。有时我不得不在暗地里动手。是的。但是我刚刚想起来你的弱点：你那可怜的信念……为荣誉而战。
    三代恐龙：（没有注意霸王龙的话，仍憎恨地绷着脸）你不可能再尝试了，霸王龙。
    霸王龙：（仍然平静而真挚）哦，可能现在还不行。首先，我想改变一下规则，以我自己的方式来赢得胜利。不好么……狂飙。
狂飙从霸王龙身后走出来。
    三代恐龙停下来，对于即将发生的事情有一丝恐惧。
    霸王龙：（对狂飙，威严地）干掉他！
    狂飙：（笑）哈哈哈！
狂飙将他的手放到胸口。胸口打开了，他的半个火种显露圞出来。他把手指尖端放到火种上，火种燃圞烧更猛烈了。他将自己火种里更多的力量施加到三代恐龙的火种上。
    三代恐龙：（痛苦的尖圞叫）
三代恐龙痛苦地尖圞叫着，抓圞住自己胸口，感到火种的力量正在占有他的身圞体。他打开胸膛，暴圞露他的半个火种，像狂飙一样撕扯着火种来对抗狂飙的力量。他一丝露圞出成功的喜色，充满自信。
    三代恐龙：（仍然在抗争，声音断断续续）你没有这个权圞利，这具身圞体是我的！
狂飙挣扎着。
    狂飙：（挣扎）不，这不管用。
    霸王龙：哦，兄弟，什么都得我做吗？
霸王龙启动尾巴上的武圞器，瞄准三代恐龙，准备开火。
这时，老鼠从三代恐龙进来时的入口全速冲进来。他冲上一个斜坡，跃到半空中，把霸王龙从椅子上撞下来掉到地上。老鼠变身并拿着武圞器。
    老鼠：（想到霸王龙刚才的话）不，我要替你结束这一切，恐龙脑袋！
老鼠把枪指向仍旧捂着火种挣扎的狂飙。
    老鼠：好了，螃蟹腿，这一枪为了我们都讨厌的大飞鱼。
但是，在老鼠朝狂飙开圞枪之前，霸王龙用尾巴掐住了老鼠的脖子，把他提了起来。老鼠的枪掉了，他无法挣脱，快要窒圞息了。
    霸王龙：这个为了我，啮齿动物。准备好和你挚爱的恐龙勇圞士一起到地狱团聚吧！
三代恐龙仍然按着火种和狂飙一起挣扎，看见老鼠被擒，想帮他，但无法分神来压圞制火种的力量。他拼命地压圞制火种，艰难地抬头凝视着老鼠。
老鼠继续在霸王龙的钳制下试图挣脱，但无济于事。他看着三代恐龙。
    老鼠：（继续挣扎，几乎无法呼吸了，但他更关心三代恐龙）不！别管我了！你必须集中精力！先救你自己！
    三代恐龙：（继续挣扎，陷入深深的矛盾中，不知所措）他会杀了你的，害虫！
    老鼠：（仍然在挣扎，已经窒圞息了，对三代恐龙说）不！不要！我不想再失去你了！
*音乐：主题曲是第三十五集《英雄本色》中恐龙勇圞士牺牲时的配乐。
画面在霸王龙、老鼠、狂飙之间快速切换，他们都在盯着三代恐龙，看着他下一步要做什么。画面转回三代恐龙。
三代恐龙依旧无助而矛盾地盯着老鼠。他低下头，然后又看向老鼠，明白了他必须做的事情。
    三代恐龙：（轻声地，对自己）为荣耀而战。
三代恐龙快速放开火种让它回到胸腔。他转过身，用眼睛的激光朝霸王龙开火。
火力将霸王龙推开，并放开了老鼠，老鼠从他的利爪下逃脱了。
狂飙迅速抓圞住这个破绽，将所有的力量施加于火种上。他紧紧地攥圞住火种，吼叫着。
    狂飙：（因为用圞力而怒吼）
    三代恐龙：（痛苦的嚎叫）
三代恐龙痛苦地跌跪在地，感到火种被整个拿走了。恐龙勇圞士与克隆恐龙的身影尖圞叫着在原地快速闪动着。
镜头快速进入三代恐龙的右眼，恐龙勇圞士晃动的，不停嚎叫的头部渐渐缩小并越来越远，直到被一片黑圞暗取代。三代恐龙的嚎叫暗淡下去了。黑圞暗的镜头从狂飙的嘴里快速地退出来，此时狂飙正在得意地大笑。
    狂飙：（胜利的笑）
*提示：三代恐龙不复存在了。他又变回克隆恐龙。
克隆恐龙跪在狂飙面前，他慢慢地站了起来。
    狂飙：欢迎回来，我的兄弟。
    克隆恐龙：（意识到他又是他自己了）很荣幸。当我和某些巨无霸啮齿动物彻底了断之后，我会更高兴的。
克隆恐龙走向躺在地面上刚刚从窒圞息中恢复的老鼠。
    老鼠：（抬头看着克隆恐龙，意识到发生了什么）哦不。
克隆恐龙一边走向老鼠，一边伸出剃刀爪子。
    克隆恐龙：这会教圞会你篡改我的会怎样，巨无霸！
正在克隆恐龙准备动手的时候，一个爆圞炸声响起，原始兽基圞地的一面墙被炸开了。急先锋飞了进来，从嘴里射圞出带着强大力量的圆盘，把克隆恐龙打翻到一旁，然后在老鼠面前停下来。
    急先锋：（对老鼠）不要以为我得到机会前会让原始兽先废掉你。
    老鼠：救我，你会吗？现在先把我们从这里弄出去！
老鼠迅速跳到急先锋背上，一起从墙上的洞里飞出去。
几秒钟之后，霸王龙、克隆恐龙、狂飙走到一起。
    霸王龙：（想确认克隆恐龙是不是他自己）恐龙勇圞士，我希望我能够确认你的忠诚仍一如既往。
    克隆恐龙：除了您，我的忠诚没有第二个人可以得到，伟大的霸王龙。
    霸王龙：很好。并且，我向你许诺，我心怀不满的仆人，很快你就是第一个在巨无霸身上品尝胜利果实的人。是的。

老鼠、黑猩猩和犀牛站在周围。看上去他们已经讨论了一会。
    老鼠：（中等的语气，愧疚而失落）抱歉，无畏的队长。我只是太想让他回来了。

Act 1
Fade in:

Ext: Thick jungle setting. Daytime. Camera approaches a slowly rolling Rattrap (VM). A beeping sound comes from his scanners and he stops and activates his comlink.

RATTRAP (VM)
Rattrap to hole in the wall…

Int: Maximal base. Optimus (RM) listens to Rattrap via the control console.

RATTRAP (VM)
(off camera, heard through console)
The homing signal was lost. Now there ain’t no telling where it was coming from.

OPTIMUS (RM)
Hmm… Better get out of there quickly. I suspect you may have fallen into a trap.

Ext: Back to jungle setting with Rattrap (VM)

RATTRAP (VM)
Hey! You’re forgetting who you’re talking to, funk monkey! I know a trap when I smell it. And where there’s no cheese, there’s …Hold on!

Ext: Shots into the jungle shrubs. Rattrap transforms into robot mode with his gun drawn and ready. He looks around suspiciously as movement is heard from nearby.

A shot is heard as a bright beam comes through the bushes.

The beam hits Rattrap knocks him to the ground and he lies there motionless with a white energy wave encompassing his body. He tries to turn to his comlink.

RATTRAP (RM)
(struggling)
Rattrap to base! I’m hit! Can’t…move.

Only static is heard through the comlink.

Rattrap looks up slightly as if seeing something.

Shot of bushes as Dinobot II (RM) walks through them with his lens eye adjusting and smoking, and approaches the paralyzed Rattrap.

DINOBOT II (RM)
Foolish Maximal. Stepped right into the sight of my immobilizer beam. Fortunately you won’t have to worry about stepping anywhere else.

Shot of Dinobot II’s claws as he draws his razors. Begins approaching closer.

Rattrap helplessly watches frightened.

Dinobot II approaches but stops in his tracks as he hears a jet engine approaching and roaring.

Cheetor (BM) comes running through the jungle at top speed and roaring. He collides with Dinobot II knocking him several meters away. Dinobot II lands over the edge of a cliff grabbing onto the edge and barely hanging on. Cheetor transforms to robot mode, draws his weapon and fires at the base of a tree.

The tree starts tipping over heading toward where Dinobot II is hanging on. Dinobot II sees it then stares at Rattrap.

DINOBOT II (RM)
(to Rattrap)
This isn’t over, rodent.

Dinobot II lets go of the cliff just before the tree hits him and falls out of sight.

CHEETOR (RM)
(to himself)
The fast cat strikes again…
(looks at Rattrap)
And has a mouse to bring home with him.

Rattrap still lies hopelessly.

RATTRAP (RM)
Yeah, well shut up and get me out of here will ya, Blondie?

Cheetor picks up Rattrap and lays him over his shoulders and begins walking away quickly.



Cut to:

Int: Maximal Base: Rhinox (RM) is fixing up Rattrap near the control console with an electrode. Optimus (RM) and Cheetor (RM) stand by.

RHINOX (RM)
There, that was easy. The immobilizer beam seems to have worn off of most of you after only a few cycles.

Rattrap gets up and walks over to sit in a console chair.

RATTRAT
Is that so huh? Well, it felt like being dismembered and blown apart at the same time. I mean, what happened to the Dinobot that would only rip your head off if he was having a bad day?

OPTIMUS (RM)
Rattrap, it’s not Dinobot. It’s the spark of Rampage. And as long as that spark ignites, it will continue to possess that protoform as a vile monster.

RATTRAP (RM)(sarcastic)
Possess, huh? Then where’s a cyber-exorcist when you need one?!

Immediately: Rattrap slams his fist down in anger on the control console, which causes a port on the lower side to drop open revealing a data box. All four Maximals look at it then at each other in confusion.

RATTRAP (RM)
Huh? I ain’t never seen this data box here before.

RHINOX (RM)
It must have been there even before the Axalon was destroyed.

Rattrap picks up the box and walks it over to the round center control table, plugs it into the terminal, and watches as a screen appears with motion images with sound.

On the screen, first we see Megatron (original organic form, BM) turning around to reveal Scorponok (RM), who blasts the viewer. (Scene from ep 1 “Beast Wars, Part 1”)

MEGATRON (BM)
(from the image)
…Isn’t that right, Scorponok?

There is then static on the screen before the next image appears. It shows Rattrap (RM) looking up at the viewer. (Scene from ep 27 “Aftermath”)

RATTRAP (RM)(from the image):…I just knew we should have left you offline, lizard-breath!

Rattrap (real one, not the image) reacts, and then understands.

RATTRAP (RM)
Wait a cycle. I know what this is.

There is static again on the screen before the next image appears. The viewer sees the maximal base console as wires are inserted into the very same data box and data begins to flow into it. The viewer then looks up into the reflection in the dark glass of the computer screen and sees the reflection of Dinobot I (RM)(scene from ep 34 “Bad Spark”).

DINOBOT I (RM)

It may yet be up to me.

There is static again. Rattrap appears very delighted at the sight of his old friend. He turns off the screen before the next image could appear, unplugs the data box from the console, and turns to his fellow Maximals. He appears excited.

RATTRAP (RM)(excited):Chopper-face must have downloaded his memory tracks to the data box before he was scrapped. This is perfect!

CHEETOR (RM)
What are you saying?

RATTRAP (RM)
Think about it, Puss. We could download these memories into the data tracks of Chopper-face’s clone, he’ll see the memories and believe them to be his own, and then he’ll believe himself to be our good old Jurassic thrasher again! We’ll have him back!

Optimus stares scratching his chin for a moment then turns to Rhinox.

OPTIMUS (RM):(inquiring for confirmation)Rhinox?

Rhinox ponders himself for a second before speaking.

RHINOX (RM)
Hmm. Well, it could work. But, the memory tracks would serve only as an illusion to the spark, and may not be believed by the possessor to be its own memories. And considering this is the spark of Protoform X, despite having the power of only half a spark, it’s likely the spark will be able to overwrite the illusion, and thus disbelieve it.

OPTIMUS (RM)
My thoughts exactly. Plus, the memory tracks could reveal important Maximal information to the Predacons and give them a strategic advantage… It’s too risky… So, I’m afraid we can’t.

RATTRAP (RM)
(struggling for permission)
But… we can’t just… (interrupted)

OPTIMUS (RM)
(interrupting, with a raised tone)
That’s an order, Rattrap! It’s too dangerous! We will not attempt to upload those memory tracks.

Optimus begins walking away before pausing and looking over his shoulder

OPTIMUS (RM)
(looking over his shoulder slightly toward Rattrap)(low tone, understanding Rattrap’s desire)I’m…sorry.

Optimus walks off and Rhinox follows.

Rattrap takes the data box and walks off in a different direction with Cheetor walking next to him.

RATTRAP (RM)
(frustrated, data box in hand)
I don’t care what that dumb ape says, I’m getting my old scrapping partner back.

CHEETOR (RM)
(supportive, but discouraging)
Well, you’re not going to get me into this one. Besides, you wouldn’t even know how to find the clone.

RATTRAP (RM)
Maybe not. But I know a little can of tuna who does.

Cut to:

Ext: Armory room inside Maximal base.
Ins: Shot of torpedoes being loaded into Depth Charge’s blaster. Zoom out to see Depth Charge (RM) arming himself. He finishes.

DEPTH CHARGE (RM)
(to himself, in gentle anticipation)
Ready. Let the X-Games begin.

Depth Charge then turns around to see an observant Rattrap, with the data box still in his hand, as soon as Rattrap begins saying…

RATTRAP (RM)
You know something, guppie? You should really consider getting a life. There’s more out there than just trying to make crab salad every day.

Depth Charge, brushing off the previous comment, begins walking out for his mission, weapon in hand, walking by Rattrap and nudging him hard on the way, while saying…

DEPTH CHARGE (RM)
I believe there’s a garbage pile nearby with your name on it, mouse.

Rattrap begins following Depth Charge toward the exit.

RATTRAP (RM)
You know, you remind me of an old metal-headed friend. He was ugly, and he smelled bad, but at least he had his head in the right place!

DEPTH CHARGE (RM)
And you won’t have yours in the right place for much longer if you don’t slag off! I’ve got a couple of spark halves to exterminate.

RATTRAP (RM)
Yeah and what if you didn’t have to exterminate one of those because it was overwritten by the data of someone friendly?

DEPTH CHARGE (RM)
Then you’re even more short-circuited than you look.

Depth Charge exits through the blast doors and Rattrap exits right behind him.

RATTRAP (RM)
In that case, I’ll prove it to you. Find me Dinobot, and I’ll take care of him for ya.

DEPTH CHARGE (RM)
This game is not for mice. It’s between me and X… Beast Mode!

Depth Charge transforms into flight mode and begins hovering ready to take off. Rattrap (RM) quickly grabs onto Depth Charge’s (VM) facial lobe and climbs aboard as he takes off.

RATTRAP (RM)
Whoa! You ain’t going nowhere alone!

DEPTH CHARGE (VM)
(calm, but tense with anger)
Get off me, mouse.

RATTRAP (RM)
Hey! Are you going to talk, or are you going to rock? Now let’s get going!

DEPTH CHARGE (VM)
(to himself, irritated but accepting)
Ugh. A perfect day ruined by a slaggin’ rodent. There’s always the ugly side of revenge.

As Depth Charge picks up speed, Rattrap sits comfortably grasping the data box tightly.

RATTRAP (RM)
(to the data box, softly, hopefully)
Don’t worry, Scales. You’ll be back in no time.

Close up on the data box as fades out.

End of Act 1


Act 2

Ext: Outside Predacon base.

Ins: Camera approaches Megatron (RM) sitting in his mobile chair at his com station. Presses button to activate comlink.

MEGATRON (RM)
(into console)(Inferno and Waspinator are neither seen nor heard)
Megatron to Inferno and Waspinator: Dinobot has not yet returned from his patrol. Find him!

Megatron then rotates his chair to see a monitor screen on which Tarantulas (RM) is seen constructing something large but indecipherable inside another room in the Predacon base.

MEGATRON (RM)
(to Tarantulas in the monitor)
Tarantulas, will the mechanism be ready to operate as scheduled?

TARANTULAS (RM)
Uh, yeeesss, mighty Megatron. Very soon the Ark will once again be yours for the taking.

MEGATRON (RM)
Excellent. You’ve done well, lieutenant. Yes. Now finish the job.

Megatron turns off the monitor and sits quietly with himself for a second before saying to himself…

MEGATRON (RM)
Traitors serve their purposes. Yet their treachery will serve them all the better in return.

Fade out

Cut to:

Ext: Dark jagged rock wild area. Daytime.

Ins: Depth Charge (VM) flies overhead with Rattrap (RM) and the data box on his back.

Depth Charge lowers to ground level and comes to a screeching halt, throwing Rattrap, with the box, off his back and landing several meters ahead.

RATTRAP (RM)
(reacting to getting thrown off and landing)
Whoa! Ugh!

Depth Charge transforms to robot mode, with his blaster drawn, and lands his feet onto the ground.

RATTRAP (RM)
(while getting up)
Hey, what was that all about, fish-face?

Depth Charge stands still looking around.

DEPTH CHARGE (RM)
(soft tone)
Quiet, mouse. X’s spark is nearby.

Rattrap draws his gun while still keeping the box in the other hand. He stands still and looks around cautiously.

RATTRAP (RM)
Which one?

DEPTH CHARGE (RM)
I don’t know. Stay here.

Depth Charge starts slowly walking around some rock walls cautiously. Rattrap begins to follow him.

RATTRAP (RM)
Hey, I paid for a front-row seat to this death-match, and I expect to see…

Rattrap is cutoff by the sound of falling stones nearby. Both Rattrap and Depth Charge turn around quickly just in time to see Dinobot II (RM) leap out from behind a rock and into plain sight.

Depth Charge immediately points his blaster, ready to fire while saying…

DEPTH CHARGE (RM)
Eat slag, creep!

Right as Depth Charge fires, Rattrap knocks Depth Charge’s blaster toward a different direction so that he wouldn’t blast Dinobot II, while exclaiming…

RATTRAP (RM)
No!

Depth Charge’s shot misses Dinobot II, and Dinobot II uses this split-second to fire his immobilizer beam from his lens to Depth Charge. Depth Charge immediately pushes Rattrap away from himself, unaware that he had been fired upon, and gets hit by the beam, knocked onto his back, and unable to move.

Dinobot II then leaps forward, lands on Depth Charge’s chest, standing upright, and holding back his razor claws ready to slash. Depth Charge watches helplessly.

DINOBOT II (RM)
Your revenge - seeking days are over, Maximal!

Right before, Dinobot II’s claws come down onto Depth Charge, Rattrap (RM) jumps onto Dinobot II’s shoulders, with the data box still in hand, holds onto his head, and quickly yells…

RATTRAP (RM)
So are your Predacon days, Lizard-breath!

Rattrap quickly sticks the wires from the data box into an input port on the back of Dinobot II’s head, then jumps off of him, right before Dinobot II attempts to slash him.

Instantly, the data from the box begins flowing into Dinobot II’s head. Dinobot II hold’s his head in pain, falls to his knees, and yells out a scream of pain.

DINOBOT II (RM)
(long scream of pain)

Rattrap and Depth Charge (motionless on ground) both witness Dinobot II’s struggle.

Dinobot II rips the box out of the back of his head and throws it up against a wall, but it’s too late, all the memories had already been downloaded.

Dinobot II continues to scream on his knees. The shot then instantaneously flips between images of Dinobot II and Dinobot I in the same screaming position, for a few instantaneous shots.

The view then rapidly zooms into Dinobot II’s right eye and the screen goes dark.

Ins: After a couple of seconds, fade into shot of Rampage’s robot head floating in darkness, in a twisted-vision illusion. (see reference of the Tarantulas/Blackarachnia mind-meld in ep 26 “Other Voices, Part 2”). The Rampage robot head looks confused and starts speaking.

RAMPAGE (ROBOT HEAD)
What…What is happening to me?

As we see Rampage’s head, various instantaneous images of scenery and characters flash on the screen.

RAMPAGE (ROBOT HEAD)
(still confused and frightened)
I’m seeing thoughts that….that aren’t mine.

Then the shot pans around to the back of Rampage’s robot head, and appearing in front of him is a Dinobot I robot head, of equal size, staring back at him. The shot continues to circle around the two heads.

RAMPAGE (ROBOT HEAD)
This isn’t real! This isn’t me! I am X! Warlord and slayer of innocent lives!

DINOBOT I (ROBOT HEAD)
(sincerely, attempting to manipulate Rampage psychologically)
No. You are now me, Dinobot: fearless warrior, and Maximal!

RAMPAGE (ROBOT HEAD)
No! I can fight you! You won’t beat me!

DINOBOT I (ROBOT HEAD)
You can’t fight what you see and believe to be true.

RAMPAGE (ROBOT HEAD)
My WHOLE spark is powerful enough to beat this! You will not win!

DINOBOT I (ROBOT HEAD)
Your pathetic HALF spark is too weak to overcome such an illusion. As of now, your lack of power will cause yourself to believe in what you see. So see me, and believe in…my honor.

RAMPAGE (ROBOT HEAD)

NOOOOOOOOOO!

As the Rampage head continues to yell, it flashes repeatedly into the Dinobot I head. More random images flash, then the image is all red. The Rampage yell turns into the Dinobot II yell, as the shot zooms out of Dinobot II’s (RM) right eye as we see Dinobot II still kneeling and screaming the same original scream in pain.

Ext: Same outdoor setting again: Dinobot II then finishes his scream and collapses face-forward onto the ground.

Rattrap (RM) remains frozen on the ground in shock of what just happened. He slowly gets up keeping his eyes on Dinobot II.

Note: from this point on during the script the character consisting of Dinobot I’s memories inside the body of Dinobot II will be referred in the script as “Dinobot III.”

Dinobot III (RM) awakens and slowly stands up while holding onto his head.

Rattrap stands near him, and looks up at him.

RATTRAP (RM)
(softly, hopefully, questioning Dinobot III’s identity)
Chopper-face?

Dinobot III turns his head to Rattrap, pauses for a second looking slightly surprised.

DINOBOT III (RM)
(softly, slightly confused as to what’s happened)
Vermin?

RATTRAP (RM)
(suddenly ecstatic)
Chopper-face!!! It’s you!!!

Rattrap then jumps into Dinobot III’s arms, and gives him a big loud kiss.

RATTRAP (RM)
(big, loud, long, enthusiastic kiss)

Dinobot III immediately throws Rattrap several feet away out of disgust.

DINOBOT III (RM)
(disgusted)
Get off of me, you pathetic rodent!

Rattrap lands feeling even more content.

RATTRAP (RM)
Yep, it’s definitely you all right! Haven’t lost the anti-social touch! Huh. I mean, holy cheddar cheese, Velici - razor, you’re one of us again!

DINOBOT III (RM)
(still calm, still trying to figure things out)
How…How did I get here? What have I become?

RATTRAP (RM)
(calmer)
Oh. You were destroyed, remember? But then, Mega-jerk made a clone out of ya with half a spark from Crab -legs. Then, I found a data box with your memories, so I uploaded them to your ugly head, and here you are! Ain’t that something!

DINOBOT III (R***owly coming to understand the situation)
…Huh…How…desperate of you.

RATTRAP (RM)
Yeah, well I just couldn’t go another day without knowing what stupid mess you’d get us into next. Man, those were the days. Hey, bet you saw some pretty crazy stuff while on Megs’ side again, huh?

DINOBOT III (RM)
(suddenly startled as if having a flashback, softly)
Megatron.

RATTRAP (RM)
Say, for old time’s sake, how about another round of seeing who can come up with the rudest personal remark about the other. Remember, doing that?

DINOBOT III (RM)
(having not paid attention to the previous comment, fixated on something that has occurred to him)
You’re right, vermin.

RATTRAP (RM)
(eager to play)(looking at Dinobot III’s new body)(telling an insulting joke)
All right, then I’ll go first. Ahem. Have you always looked like a skeleton, or did joining the Preds, make you ‘lose your skin?’ Heh heh. Good one, huh?

DINOBOT III (R***ightly enraged)(then calmer and fearful)
No, you pathetic landfill - rodent. You are right… I can see things that this body has seen. And this body has seen …Megatron’s plans.

RATTRAP (RM)
(confused)
Whuh?

DINOBOT III (RM)
(beginning to understand what he must do)
Megatron plans to take control of the Ark again. He has the power. ….(short painful yelp)

An electric noise is heard and Dinobot III bends over in pain holding his head.

RATTRAP (RM)
(suddenly concerned)
Hey, uh, you all right there, lizard-lips?

Dinobot III stands up again having regained himself.

DINOBOT III (RM)
The spark is still trying to take over. I may not be able to hold it for long.

RATTRAP (RM)
Then we better get you back to base. Rhinox will know how to keep you from turning back.

DINOBOT III (RM)
(raised tone, understanding what he must do)
No! Megatron is close to another victory. He must be stopped before he can complete his ultimate devastation.

Dinobot III then transforms into beast mode.

DINOBOT III (BM)
(softly, to himself)
For honor.

Dinobot III then takes off running at top speed away from the scene.

RATTRAP (RM)
(startled and concerned)
Hey wait!

Rattrap then points to a still motionless Depth Charge (RM)

RATTRAP (RM)
We’ve also gotta’ deal with a beached whale here.

Dinobot III continues running without responding. He runs out of sight.

Rattrap begins walking over to the motionless Depth Charge, knowing that he has to help him.

RATTRAP (RM)
(while walking, muttering quietly to himself)
That sinister salamander, hard-headed as ever.

Rattrap approaches Depth Charge who is still conscious but immobile. Depth Charge looks up at Rattrap.

RATTRAP (RM)
So how you doin’ there, submarino? Bet you’re busy thinking of ways to thank me for getting that lizard off your tail, huh?

DEPTH CHARGE (RM)
(threateningly)
If I could get up, mouse, I would rip out your optics so you wouldn’t have to look at the slag - pile that you just got us into!

RATTRAP (RM)
(defensively)
Hey! I just saved our hides, shark-meat, and got Dino-brain back for us, whereas you wanted to scrap him!

DEPTH CHARGE (RM)
You’re processor couldn’t be more defective. Those tracks won’t hold off X’s spark. When X realizes what has happened, he’ll give the clone the full power of his spark, and not even your half-baked ideas will stop the spark from taking over again.

RATTRAP (RM)
(understanding, and becoming worried)
Why, you may be a toasted tuna melt, but you’re right. Chopper-face is walking right into pred - territory, and into a trap!


Rattrap then transforms into vehicle mode and begins rolling away from the scene.

DEPTH CHARGE (RM)
Hey! Get back here, mouse!

Rattrap (VM) stops in his tracks and turns around to speak.

RATTRAP (VM)
(determined to save Dinobot III)
Oh yeah, about that immobilizer beam. Don’t worry about it. It should wear off in a few cycles. Besides, I don’t think I want to be around you when you recover, and I’ve got a friend that I’m not going to lose again.

Rattrap turns back around and starts speeding away and out of sight.

DEPTH CHARGE (RM)
(sarcastic, to himself)
Marvelous.

Then a small butterfly flies up to Depth Charge, lands on his chest, and looks in the direction of his face.

DEPTH CHARGE (RM)
(threatening, to the butterfly)
What are you looking at?

Ext: Rock - laden open valley

Dinobot III (BM) is running at top speed across sedimentary flat planes. He stops in his tracks upon hearing Waspinator’s (RM) buzzing. Waspinator flies in and lands right in front of Dinobot III.

WASPINATOR (RM)
Ooh. Waspinator found Lizard-bot. Megatron will be pleased.

DINOBOT III (BM)
(somewhat delighted to see an enemy)
Ah, yes, the insect, my former practice - target. I do suspect your days have been…ill- fated.

WASPINATOR (RM)
(confused by Dinobot III’s statements)
Whuh?

Waspinator presses his chest to activate his comlink

WASPINATOR (RM)
(into the comlink)
Waspinator to Megatron. Waspinator found Lizard-bot. But Lizard-bot talking funny to Waspinator.

MEGATRON (RM)
(not seen, only heard through the comlink)
Well, whatever. Just see to it that he makes his way back to base.

Immediately upon hearing Megatron’s voice, Dinobot III (BM) recognizes it, and becomes enraged. As soon as Megatron finishes his sentence, Dinobot III spins around once quickly stabbing his tail all the way through Waspinator’s torso.

WASPINATOR (RM)
(short cry of pain)

Dinobot III then hangs his tail, with Waspinator stuck on it over his head so that he can speak into the comlink on Waspinator’s chest.

DINOBOT III (BM)
(threateningly, slowly walking while he talks)
Megatron, you will not win this time.

Cut to:

Ins: Predacon Base
Inside Predacon base where Megatron is seated in his chair listening over the comlink.

DINOBOT III (BM)
(heard through comlink)
You’ll scrap me to the ground again before you take control of the Ark!

MEGATRON (RM)
(surprised, understanding what has happened, but not sure how, to himself)
It can’t be.

WASPINATOR (RM)
(heard through comlink)
Megatron, Waspinator wants to renegotiate contract. Waspinator tired of…

Waspinator’s voice is cut off by the sound of his head getting ripped off (not seen). Megatron makes a disappointed look.

DINOBOT III (BM)
(heard through comlink, threateningly)
Prepare for my arrival,…Megatron.

The comlink cuts off. Megatron pauses for a few seconds to analyze the situation. He then presses his comlink button again.

MEGATRON (RM)
(into the comlink)(Rampage is neither seen nor heard)
Megatron to Rampage. Report to me immediately. You and I are going to say hello to an old friend…And then goodbye!

Ext: Volcanic rock area. Sunset.

Zoom in: Rattrap (VM) rolls along the ground at medium speed while sniffing.

RATTRAP (VM)
(to himself)
Well, despite all his body - switches, that lizard still hasn’t lost his stink…Now where could he be going?

Shot pans around Rattrap (VM) as he approaches a cliff edge. Seen in the valley below is the Predacon base.

RATTRAP (VM)
(softly, realizing that Dinobot III has walked into enemy lines)
Oh no.

Rattrap (VM) then begins rolling down the hill toward the base.


Cut to:
Int: Predacon base. Megatron (RM) sits at his chair and rotates it to look at the monitor screen where an alarmed Tarantulas (RM) appears still inside another room in the Predacon base with scattered pieces of metal surrounding him.

MEGATRON (RM)
What now?

TARANTULAS (RM)
(over the monitor)(confused and furious)
The machine! It’s been blasted to pieces! It’ll take megacycles to repair!

MEGATRON (RM)
(furious)
What?! Who did this?!

TARANTULAS (RM)
(over the monitor)
I don’t know! But your clone has just returned. Perhaps he knows.

Close-up of Megatron’s face as he says…

MEGATRON (RM)
(surprised, then attempting to warn)
What?! No, you fool!

TARANTULAS (RM)
(not seen, only heard)
(long scream, while exploding)

Megatron is cutoff by the sound of Tarantulas getting blown apart (not seen).

MEGATRON (RM)
(disappointed, yet calm)
Oh.

Still seated, Megatron arms himself with his tail weapon and grasps it firmly. He rotates his seat to look down a dark corridor in the Predacon base as he hears slow footsteps coming down it. The footsteps grow louder. Megatron continues to sit in anticipation growing more expecting.

Then the decapitated head of Tarantulas rolls into the room from the corridor. It lands right in front of Megatron and sparks a little.

Megatron looks up at the corridor entrance as Dinobot III (R***owly and calmly enters.

DINOBOT III (RM)
(calmly, tense with hatred, slowly approaching)
Megatron.

MEGATRON (RM)
(calm, sincere, confident, and somewhat delighted)
Why, Dinobot. Quite the surprise to see you yet again. You truly amaze me. Even after passing to the pit, you manage to hunt me down and thwart my plans. You truly are a remarkable warrior. One that I sometimes wish I had kept on my side. Yes. But then I just remind myself of your weakness: your pathetic struggle…for honor.

DINOBOT III (RM)
(having not paid attention to the previous comment, still tense with hatred)
You will not try it again, Megatron.

MEGATRON (RM)
(still calm and sincere)
Oh, perhaps not just yet. First I have to get through a barrier that keeps on managing to get in my way. Isn’t that right…Rampage.

Rampage (RM) walks up from behind Megatron (RM).

Dinobot III stops in his tracks and appears fearful knowing what’s going to happen.

MEGATRON (RM)
(to Rampage, commanding)
Do it!

RAMPAGE (RM)
(laughing)
Hoo ha ha!

Rampage (RM) then puts his hands over his chest. His chest opens up revealing his spark half. He cusps his hands over the spark and it begins to glow more. He is forcing more of his spark’s power to Dinobot III’s spark.

DINOBOT III (RM)
(yelp of pain)

Dinobot III (RM) yells in pain and grasps his chest feeling the power of the spark taking over his body again. He then opens up his chest revealing his half of the spark and likewise cusps his claws over it to resist the power. He appears to succeed a little and is confident.

DINOBOT III (RM)
(while still struggling somewhat, fractured speech)
You do not have the power. This body is mine!

Rampage (RM) is struggling.

RAMPAGE (RM)
(struggling)
No. It’s not working.

MEGATRON (RM)
Oh bother. Must I do everything?!

Megatron (RM) fires up his tail weapon and aims at Dinobot III, ready to fire.

Then Rattrap (VM) comes rolling in at top speed through the same corridor Dinobot III entered through. He goes up a ramp, flies through the air, and hits Megatron knocking him out of his seat and onto the ground below. Rattrap lands and transforms with his gun drawn.

RATTRAP (RM)
(referring to Megatron’s previous comment)
Nope. I can finish it for ya, Mega-brain!

Rattrap (RM) then points his gun toward Rampage who’s still struggling with his spark.

RATTRAP (RM)
All right Crab-legs, this one’s for that flying manatee we both hate.

But before Rattrap can fire on Rampage, Megatron (RM) grabs Rattrap by the neck with his tail weapon and holds him up above the ground. Rattrap drops his gun as he’s being strangled and can’t break free.

MEGATRON (RM)
And this is for me, rodent. Prepare for a reunion with your beloved Dinobot… in the pit!

Dinobot III (RM), still struggling with Rampage (RM) over their sparks, witnesses that Rattrap is in trouble and wants to help him, but he can’t lose concentration of resisting the spark’s power. Dinobot III makes a conflicted, struggling stare at Rattrap.

Rattrap (RM) continues to struggle from Megatron’s strangling but can’t. He sees Dinobot III.

RATTRAP (RM)
(still struggling, under his breath, more concerned with Dinobot III than himself, to Dinobot III)
No! Don’t help me! You have to concentrate! Save yourself!

DINOBOT III (RM)


(still struggling, deeply conflicted on what to do)
But, he’s going to destroy you, vermin!

RATTRAP (RM)
(still struggling, under his breath, to Dinobot III)
No! Don’t! I can’t lose you again!

Alternating shots of the expressions of Megatron, Rattrap, and Rampage as they all stare to see what Dinobot III does. Then back to Dinobot III.

Dinobot III still stares helplessly and conflicted. He looks down at himself then back at Rattrap, then realizes what he must do.

DINOBOT III (RM)
(softly, to himself)
For honor.

Dinobot III quickly lets go of his spark as it reenters his chest. He turns to Megatron (RM) and fires a blast from his eye at Megatron.

The blast hits Megatron who gets knocked away and drops Rattrap (RM) who is now free from the grip.

Rampage (RM) quickly uses this opportunity of vulnerability to give his spark all of the power he has. He grasps his spark tightly and yells.

RAMPAGE (RM)
(effortful yell)

DINOBOT III (RM)
(painful yell)

Dinobot III falls to his knees in pain as he feels the spark taking over completely. There are instantaneous flashes again of Dinobot I’s body in the place of Dinobot II’s body in the same screaming position.

Then the view quickly zooms into Dinobot III’s right eye where all goes dark and we see the floating, yelling robot head of Dinobot I which shrinks into the distance until all is black again. Dinobot III’s scream fades. The blackness then zooms out of Rampage’s (RM) mouth as he is laughing triumphantly.

RAMPAGE (RM)
(triumphant laugh)

Note: Dinobot III no longer exists. It is once again Dinobot II.

Dinobot II (RM) is kneeling on the ground in front of Rampage (RM) as he slowly gets up.

RAMPAGE (RM)
Welcome back, my brother.

DINOBOT II (RM)
(realizing himself to be himself again)
A pleasure. Yet I’ll be more pleased when I’ve finished with a certain Maximal rodent.

Dinobot II then begins approaching Rattrap (RM) who is on the ground still recovering from the strangling.

RATTRAP (RM)
(looking up at Dinobot II and realizing what’s happened)
Oh no.

Dinobot II draws out his razor claws while approaching Rattrap.

DINOBOT II (RM)
This will teach you to tamper with my spark, Maximal!

Right before Dinobot II is ready to slash, an explosion is heard and a wall of the Predacon base gets a big hole blown in it. Then Depth Charge (VM) flies into the base and shoots a power disc from his mouth to Dinobot II knocking him away and stopping in front of Rattrap.

DEPTH CHARGE (VM)
(to Rattrap)
Don’t think that I was going to let the Preds scrap you before I got the chance to.

RATTRAP (RM)
Save it, will ya fish-face? Now get us out of here!

Rattrap (RM) quickly jumps on board Depth Charge (VM) and together they fly away out the blown hole in the wall.

A few seconds later, Megatron, Dinobot II, and Rampage all approach each other.

MAGATRON(RM)

(making certain Dinobot II is himself again)
Well Dinobot, I hope I can be assured of your loyalty as once it was.

DINOBOT II (RM)
My allegiance is to none other than you, mighty Megatron.

MEGATRON (RM)
Excellent. And I promise you, my malcontent minion, very soon you will be among the first to taste our delectable victory over the Maximals. Yes.

Cut to:

Int: Inside Maximal base near the control center.

Rattrap (RM), Optimus (RM), and Rhinox (RM) stand around. It appears that they had been talking for a while.

RATTRAP (RM)
(picking up in middle of speech, apologetic and disappointed)
I’m sorry, Fearless Leader. I just really wanted him back.

OPTIMUS (RM)
(forgiving)
I understand, Rattrap. But right now, we have a bigger concern. If what you told me is true, then it sounds like Megatron’s plans for the Ark have only just begun. Rhinox, we better start increasing the defenses.

Optimus (RM) and Rhinox (RM) walk off together. Rattrap stands quietly by himself in sorrow.

RATTRAP (RM)
(softly, sorrowful, to himself)
There was just one defense I ever needed, and now he’s gone forever.

Ext: Outside Maximal Base: It is night and the sky is filled with stars. Rattrap looks up at the sky.

View: Zooms out from Rattrap and turns to see the starry sky. One star glows brightly and shines back.
